Experimental laboratory samples were smelted

On January 5, 2024, experimental laboratory samples based on a Cantor alloy with an additional content of niobium and carbon were smelted in an induction melting furnace at the Department of Nanotechnology and Metallurgy and the International Center for Materials Science of Karaganda Technical University named after Abylkas Saginov. This composition contributes to an increase in operational properties (wear resistance, hardness, strength) by 30-50%. The resulting alloy has a high density and homogeneous structure.
